The lecturer in the College of Science, Department of Ecology at the University of Basra, Dr. Munther Abdel-Jalil Muhammad Ali, was chosen as a scientific resident in the Arabian Journal of Chemistry.

Dr. Munther Abdel Jalil said that this journal is concerned with publishing research that specializes in the field of chemistry, that is, the specializations of general chemistry and chemical engineering. It is issued by Elsevier Publishing House, and it is a journal indexed in Scopus Q1 terms with a citation factor of 11 and in Clarivate terms with an impact factor of 0.95.
