The College of Science in the Department of Mathematics discussed a Ph.D. thesis titled Neural Network Topology Optimization in Forecasting Hydrocarbon Production for postgraduate student Amani Jamal.  The thesis aims to introduces pivotal topological concepts, namely compatible and incompatible topologies, within artificial neural networks.
