The University of Basrah hold a seminar on (Preparation of CAD/CAM materials for dental prostheses with high physical and mechanical properties)

A seminar entitled (Manufacturing and characterization of ceramic/polymer composites for dental restoration using oyster shells supported with zirconium nanoparticles that are used using CAD/CAM technology) by graduate student (Masters) Ayat Mahdi Khalaf. The aim of the study is to manufacture new dental restorative materials from Cad/Cam composites (composites) within specifications. International ISO (6872: 2008) can be used in Cad/Cam technology, taking advantage of cheap materials available in Iraq, such as oyster shells, reinforced with nano-zirconium, as these materials consist of high-ceramic fillers mixed with polymer. hold at the College of Science, Department of Physics.
