The Department of Geology at the College of Science at the University of Basrah received students and teachers from Al-Maqal Preparatory School for Boys, where the students were received and an overview of the Department of Earth Science was presented by Dr. Rasha Kashish and Dr. Saba Qassem. The students also took a look at the department’s laboratories and learned about fossils, rock models, and scientific microscopes.
