Receiving first-year students in the biology Sciences Department

The Department of biology Sciences at the College of Science - Basra University organized a meeting with the students of the first stage for the morning and evening studies.

In the presence of the Department Head, Professor Dr. Wafa Saadoun Shani, the Department Rapporteur, Assistant Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah, and a group of department professors.

The meeting included a welcome speech by the department head and an introductory overview of the department, university life, and educational directions on campus.

The meeting focused on introducing the new teaching system according to the Bologna Track, how to register for it, the different courses and units required for each level, as well as the method of monthly and final examinations.

The meeting concluded with words of encouragement to the new students to overcome all the difficulties they face during the registration stage and the necessity of cooperating with the department’s rapporteurs to implement the new program and advance the department’s scientific career.
