The President of the University of Basra, Dr. Saad Shaheen, and the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Jalal Jabbar, opened the Hasanat Biology Laboratory in the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Science, after the laboratory was renovated and equipped with modern equipment used to serve the scientific side of researchers and graduate students, especially specialized equipment in DNA analyses. The head of the Life Sciences Department, Dr. Wafa Saadoun, explained the second stage of work, various laboratories and experiments from the nanotechnology laboratory

And a real-time PCR laboratory in a way that supports the university department in these fields

The President of the University also visited the laboratory laboratory in the department and looked at the various equipment in the laboratory, which won master’s and doctoral degrees in completing their research experiments related to their studies.
