The University of Basrah discusses a master's thesis On Influence of Correlated Random Errors on Type I and II Error Rates in the One-way Random Effect Model

The College of Science in the Department of Mathematics discussed a master thesis titled Influence of Correlated Random Errors on Type I and II Error Rates in the One-way Random Effect Model for Postgraduate Student Ahmed Majid. The thesis aims to determine the relationship between existent correlations between random errors within and across groups for the one-way random effect model and the type I and II error rates and their impact on statistical decisions. The variance-covariance structure has been created by considering the correlations between random errors. The Type I and II error rates are computed at a significance level of 0.05.
