The Department of Earth Sciences at the College of Science organized a seminar entitled Diagnosing the mineralogy and swelling properties of clay soils in selected locations in Al-Faw and stabilizing them using nano-calcium carbonate. The seminar, in which researcher Haneen Nazim Abdel Amir lectured, aims to use nano-calcium carbonate as a new and developed technology that can be invested in improving the soil and mixing it with inflorescence material in different proportions to determine the best stability ratio for stabilizers.
