University of Basrah organized a workshop titled "Zotero Reference Management Software".

The workshop, conducted by Assist. Prof. Dr. Marwan Y. Al-Maqtoofi and Assist. Prof. Alaa Alaa Al-Deen Maatoq. This workshop aimed to clarify the concept of Zotero software to organize and manage academic references within research sources and how to practically use it to facilitate the addition and management of references in research papers and thesis. 

The objective was to optimize time utilization and ensure the production of high-quality academic and scientific output.

The workshop covered multiple aspects, including a theoretical section, and it was conducted interactively to emphasize the importance of this modern software in academic writing. Additionally, the practical section provided attendees with guidance on how to download and use the Zotero software.

The workshop highlighted the necessity of employing such modern technologies in scientific writing to facilitate and organize research materials effectively.
