Master thesis in the College of Science discusses environmental factors and Artemisia scoparia

A master's thesis in the Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basrah discussed the impact of some environmental factors on the distribution of the Artemisia scoparia plant in the southern desert in Basra Governorate.

Researcher Haneen Faisal Toyeh’s dissertation included a study of the Artemisia scoparia and its presence in some places in the southern desert of Basrah Governorate due to its medical and environmental importance.

The study aims to pay attention to desert plants because of their importance in preserving plant diversity, their medicinal importance, and their use as bioaccumulators for some heavy elements.
