The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, announced the submission of more than three thousand international students to study at Iraqi universities for the academic year 2024/2023.

In his speech during the first scholarship conference held by the Higher Committee for the development of education in Iraq, he stressed that the Ministry of higher education and scientific research succeeded in establishing its flagship project branded (study in Iraq) to attract international students to study at Iraqi universities, whose official platforms documented more than three thousand applicants from Arab and foreign countries
