A delegation from the Department of Geology, College of Science, University of Basrah, visited the Department of Earth Science, College of Science, University of Duhok, under the direct guidance of the President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, for the purpose of opening prospects for joint cooperation in the scientific field, field work, and research cooperation. In both universities, the head of the delegation, Dr. Ali Khaled Abbas, agreed on the mechanism of future and organizational work for field work. Dr. Ali also invited and hosted the President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen, to the University of Dohuk to visit Basrah and the colleges of the university. This came after the completion of the field work project for 67 students from the Department of Earth Science in Dohuk Governorate, under the supervision of the presidency and professors of the Department of Earth Science at the College of Science, University of Basrah.
