Master thesis discussing the use of plant extracts

A master's thesis in the Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra discussed Use of Plant Extracts as Bio-coagulants in The Treatment of Contaminated Water.

The researcher's message (Ayat Khaled Salem) included conducting a study to develop alternative methods that are better for human health and environmentally beneficial.

The letter aims to check the thirteen native plants to be green coagulant.

The study concluded that thirteen local plants in the form of plant extracts were tested in the form of powder to remove turbidity with real wastewater from the Ashar River.

The thesis recommended the application of green coagulant in wastewater treatment plants in Basra and the application of a hybrid system such as alum with the best green coagulant in different concentrations.
