Postgraduate student (Masters) Haneen Maan Abd-alhafidh The study aims to find therapeutic alternatives of fungal origin that are more effective by isolating some fungi from molds and yeasts known for their efficiency in producing effective compounds from extreme environments and diagnosing them by phenotypic and molecular diagnosis, then selecting two isolates from the colored yeasts Rhodotorula known for its production of carotenoids, then extracting and purifying it and testing its effectiveness on several clinical isolates isolated from different skin fungal infections within Basra Governorate in Al-Madinah General Hospital and AL-Fayhaa General Hospital.                                                                                                                                                The study recommended the adoption of genetic analysis in the diagnosis of clinical isolates. Also, a comparative study of the mechanism of action of beta-carotene using transmission and scanning electron microscopy. Efficacy of beta-carotene standardized to purified beta-carotene from Rhodotrula isolates. As well as testing its effectiveness against dermatophytes from a total dose of Dermatophytes and determining the lowest and lethal inhibitory concentration of the purified compound. While avoiding the occurrence of these injuries by adhering to personal hygiene and

taking adequate preventive measures when raising pets.
