Master thesis discussing wastewater treatment methods

A master's thesis in the Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra discussed the improvement of the physicochemical and biological properties of wastewater of some Basra hospitals using extracts of some local plants.

The thesis aims to use henna and elias as safe extracts in wastewater treatment.

The thesis concluded that these plants have the ability to improve the quality of water discharged from hospitals from a chemical and physical point of view.

The thesis recommended the adoption of environmentally friendly materials such as local plants that have a role in the field of bioremediation and in-depth study of them in this direction.
