The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a seminar entitled Evaluation of the Efficiency of Constructed Wetlands Improved by Biochar and Ceramics for Gray Water Treatment

The seminar, in which the student Rana Abdul-Amir Aylan lectured, aims to evaluate the efficiency of wetlands built using biochar and ceramics.

The workshop recommended the use of this system and its application in residential complexes for the purpose of treating gray water and using it to irrigate agricultural areas within the residential complex and reduce the need for water sources.
