Ph. D thesis at the faculty of Science at the University of Basrah was  discussed (Molecular Screening of the Emergence Resistant Enterococci species in Burn' Patients in Al-Basrah, Iraq), and showed the researcher's thesis (Hanan Ali Abed Al- Kareem) the emergence and prevalence of multidrug-resistant MDR enterococci between burn patients, as well as how they acquire or donor pathogenicity virulence genes from bacteria in surrounding environment such as staphylococci comparing to enterococci isolated from healthy people.
Conclude: the hospital staffs are unaware of enterococci infection and its emergence as an urgent pathogen in burn patients. In addition, the control isolates were safe based on the frequency of virulence and resistance genes, but clinical isolates were harmful.
Recommend: The study suggest put a specific protocol for sterilization and treating Enterococci as the third causative agent in burn' patients.
