The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a scientific trip for students of the waste treatment and recycling course 401 for students of the fourth stage of the morning study.

  The visit was to the Iraq Ports Company, and the most prominent methods of waste treatment were reviewed, with the aim of expanding students' perceptions of the course.

The visit took place under the supervision of female teachers, Dr. Asia Fadel Abdullah, Dr. Fadia Mushtaq Salim, and Mrs. Anfas Nima Akash in the Department of Ecology, to enrich the practical side through the application of science on the ground, which leads to enhancing students' confidence in the science they are studying.
