The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a scientific trip for students of the aquatic plants course for students of the fourth stage of the morning study.

The visit was supervised by Dr. Widad Mezban Taher, Department of Ecology, and Dr. Jihad Makki Majeed, Marine Sciences Center, to enrich the practical side by visiting some environmental sites that show the importance of plants in removing pollutants and salinity.
