The Department of Ecology at the Faculty of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled "The Use of Artificial Wetlands for Greywater Treatment"

The seminar, in which the student Rana Abdul Ameer Aylan lectured, aims to assess the efficiency of artificial wetlands with horizontal subsurface runoff for the treatment of gray water and their conformity with the standard limits allowed for the purpose of being used for irrigation or subtracting them to water bodies.
