The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a seminar entitled Indoor air quality assessment in some public and private schools

The seminar, in which a master's student, Hassanein Shehab Ahmed, lectured, aims to identify the most important internal environment pollutants for schools, including biological pollutants, chemical gases and particulate matter, and to indicate their sources and potential health effects.

The seminar dealt with the physical factors affecting indoor air quality, such as temperature, humidity, ratio, and ventilation.
