The University of Basrah organizes a seminar entitled (Physiological effects of chemotherapy for leukemia patients)

The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled (Physiological effects and drug sensitivity in Febrile Neutropenic Patients Treated with Chemotherapy at Basra Center of Oncology and Hematology) by the graduate student Master's degree, Huda Abdel Karem Shalal .The study aims To complete blood count to determine the absolute febrile neutropenia, detect the physiological effect of neutropenia by measuring C-reactive protein, detect microorganisms associated with neutropenia, identify the drug sensitivity pattern of these microorganisms and included . And the study was recommended Early access to a blood sample for culture and sensitivity to ensure accurate detection of microorganisms and appropriate use of antimicrobials. Support hygienic procedures during the medical care service to reduce transmission of nosocomial infections.
