The college of Science in the Department of Mathematics discussed a master’s thesis entitled (Numerical Solutions Analysis of Image Inpainting Algorithms Based Partial Differential Equations) for graduate student Zainab Ali Abdulkarim. The thesis aimed to  solve two major problems in the digital image. The first problem is to inpaint the large missing areas in the image, and the second is to remove texts from the image and recover the edges and corners using the isotropic diffusion model.
