Research team from the University of Basrah published a paper titled ( Finite element analysis of nonlinear reaction-diffusion system of Fitzhugh-Nagumo type with Robin boundary conditions

Prof. Dr. Akil J. Harfash and   PhD student  Ghassan A. Al-Juaifri published a paper entitled ( Finite element analysis of nonlinear reaction-diffusion system of Fitzhugh-Nagumo type with Robin boundary conditions) in the Mathematics and Computers in Simulation, published by Elsevier, which is indexed in Scopus which Impact Factor 3.601, and it falls within the first quarter Q1 and CiteScore  4.7. the study aims the properties of numerical solutions of a semi-discrete and fully practical piecewise linear finite element technique are provided. Moreover, for a semi-discrete and fully discrete finite element approximation, we establish a priori estimates and error bounds. We also introduce the results of numerical examples in one and two dimensions, which confirm the theoretical findings of this study.
