The college of science in mathematical department discussed a master thesis entitled Numerical Solutions of Volterra Integral Equations of the Second Kind Using Non-Polynomial Spline Methods for postgraduate student Atiaf Jamal. The thesis aims to introduce the polynomial and non-polynomial splines and develop numerical methods for computing approximations to the solution of linear, nonlinear and the system of second kind VIE respectively.
