The college of Science, in the Department of Mathematics, discussed a master's thesis entitled On Fixed Point Theorems in Partially   Ordered Metric Space by Ali Abdel-Hadi. The thesis consisted of four chapters on the study, results, and conclusions.   The thesis aims to study the existence of coincidence and common “fixed point (F.P)” for two maps that satisfy contractive conditions with rational expression in “partially ordered metric spaces (P.O.M.S)”, which is a generalization of metric space.
