The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled (the polycystic ovarian syndrome) by the graduate student PhD Hajras shaker Saleh .The study aims To investigate the levels of hormones related with PCOS and included  and the study was recommended Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder common among women of reproductive age. Women with PCOS may have infrequent or prolonged menstrual periods or excess male hormone (androgen) levels.The ovaries may develop  numerous small collections (follicles) which located peripherally and fail to regularly ovulate The exact cause of PCOS is unknown. Early diagnosis and treatment along with weight loss may reduce the risk of long-term complications such as ,type2 diabetes and heart disease
