The College of Science - Mathematics Dept. discussed a master's thesis entitled (Stability Analysis of the Diffusion Convection Problem in Bimodal Media) by graduate student Sarah Hussein Saleh on the Zoom platform. The thesis studied the dual diffusion convection model in diploid mediums saturated with a Newtonian liquid of the Darcy type And Brinkman and linear and nonlinear instability ,it showed the effect of the permeability coefficient with the SORT coefficient on the stability criterion. Brinkman's model of the dual-propagation convection problem was used in dual media and discussed numerically the effect of the Brinkman limit, the permeability coefficient and the Riley salt number on the onset of the convection.
