The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra held a ceremony in honor of Dr. Mustafa Abdel Wahab Najm, the former head of the department, for his scientific achievements during his tenure of office.

It is reported that Dr. Mustafa Abdel-Wahhab held the position for a period of six months, starting from September-2021, and before that he was the rapporteur of the Department of Ecology for a period of more than three years.
