The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a scientific trip for the students of aquatic plants course to Nazim Shatt al-Basra. The trip included seeing the regulator of the Shatt al-Basra and a practical mechanism for planting Mangrove trees. It is noteworthy that the trip was under the supervision of the head of the department, Dr. Nayef Mohsen Aziz, and the lecturer of the course, Dr. Wedad Mizban Taher, accompanied by Dr. Abd al-Ridha Akbar Alwan and Dr. Donia Ali Hussain, and the instructor of the Marine Science Center, Dr. Ayman Abdullatif Kwais, and Mr. Jihad Makki Majeed.
