The ministerial committee formed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research - Department of Research and Development / Graduate Studies Department visited the college to see the material and human capabilities to consider the issue of introducing a doctoral study in the Department of Ecology in the College of Science.

The committee was formed by the lecturers of the Faculty of Science at the Universities of Al-Qadisiyah and Maysan, with a specialization in environmental pollution and biotechnology, to consider the availability of conditions for the creation of a doctoral study with a specialization in environmental sciences - environment and pollution in the Department of Ecology.
