The University of Basrah organize a seminar entitled (Hydatid cyst disease)

The College of Science at the University of Basra has organized a seminar edtitled (Hydatid cyst disease) for graduate student Zainab Alaa Abdel-Baqi. ferocity
 Hydatid cyst disease is one of the most important and widespread diseases in the world, and this disease is caused by the larval stage of the tapeworm Echinococcus granulosus in susceptible intermediate hosts.
The diseas is present in large areas of the world, especially the tropics, the Middle East, some regions of Africa, Latin America and China, which represent the largest part of human cases.
Where humans play an important role as an intermediate host of the conditional worm’s life cycle, as in sheep, it is infected by ingestion of tapeworm eggs coming from infected meat eaters when the individual deals with dogs and contacts them, or by eating food and drink contaminated with tapeworm eggs.
