The Department of Chemistry at the College of Science organized, within a series of weekly lectures, a scientific lecture entitled Fungi, Mycotoxins and Mycotoxicoses, delivered by Dr.Asia AbdulHamid Mohammed Saadullah. The The lecturer aimed to learn about Fungi have a wide geographical distribution. A countless number of fungal species have been identified. Fungi produce different types of mycotoxins that contaminate food commodities, which affect animals and human health.
