A seminar entitled on petroleum hydrocarbons in water Its existence, risks and measurement hold at The Department of Ecology at the College of Science.

The presenter Mojtaba Sami Matar explained the aims of the seminar to estimate the hydrocarbon compounds in some types of bottled water circulating in Basra Governorate and to know their sources.

The seminar dealt with the importance of drinking water, the most important water pollutants, and the dangers of aromatic hydrocarbons and their sources.
