A master’s thesis Titled concentrations of some organochlorine pesticides in the surface sediments of Shatt al-Arab was defended at the College of  Science, Department of Ecology on(Jan 5,2022) for the postgraduate Candidate Esraa Abdel Karim Taban.

The aim of the thesis to determine the spread of pesticides and the seasonal and locational changes of those pesticides and to indicate the extent of the effect of those pesticides on public health and the environment as they were used in violation of the controls and standards And to measure the amount of total organic .
