The Department of Ecology at the College of Science organized an electronic workshop on environmental media between reality and ambition

The workshop aimed to clarify how to use the media to educate people that rationalize their behaviour in order to automatically preserve the environment and work on developing their capabilities.

The workshop, which was attended by the lecturer Moataz Hikmat Othman in the Department of Ecology, included a description of environmental media and the formation of environmental awareness among the masses and increasing their interest in environmental issues to ensure possible positive behaviours regarding environmental issues and positive participation in our society.

The workshop recommended the formation of journalists specialized in the field of environment, organizing environmental media campaigns, cooperating with relevant non-governmental associations, strengthening the role of environmental media and covering news related to the ocean, whether harmful or beneficial to the environment.
