The Deanship of the College of Sciences organized a lecture in the Civil Defense on dealing with risks, especially fires and methods of extinguishing them, in the presence of the Administrative Dean, Dr. Majid Nouri Hammoud, and the Head of the Biology Department, Dr. Nasser Abdul Ali. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Rahim Ali Al-Hatim, a specialist and former civil defense official at the University of Basra.the lecture was about how to dealt with an explanation of the types of risks facing the employees in order to educate the employees about this issue and how to deal with such accidents and what are the methods and tools that are used with each type of fire
