Geology Department at the College of Science at University of Basrah continues it workshop for the second day which entitled Stratigraphic sequence and its interpretations using facies and electroacoustic data, delivered by Dr. Fahd Mansour Saqr. The workshop dealt with a detailed explanation of the basic principles of stratigraphic continuity and facies and micro facies interpretations. It also addressed the principles of interpretation of seismic sections and how to build a stratigraphic time segment from a seismic segment and applied interpretation methods.
