Dr. Sttar Jabbar Al-Khafaji and Dr. AjeAl Swain Yassin obtained a certificate of participation in the first International Geological Conference (GEO Iraq) in cooperation with the University of Tikrit and Sulaymaniyah for the period 25- November 28, 2021., for their participation in a research entitled “The reality of mineral resources in Iraq, Zurbatiya area as a case study’’. The research dealt with the evaluation of limestone deposits for the purposes of the cement industry and the evaluation of gypsum deposits for the purposes of making gypsum boards and plasters.
