
The College of Science have hosted a lecture about the persistent organic pollutants in the indoor environment. Dr. Layla Saleh Al-Omran, a faculty member of the Department of Chemistry, has presented the most common organic pollutants in the indoor environment such as universities, hospitals, schools and even cars, where people spend 90% of their lifetime. Dr. Al-Omran has also illustrated the harmful impact of these pollutants and the precautions need to be considered.
