Synthesis and Characteristic polyacrylonitrile and study some of their physical properties  and their application of gel electrolyte  polymer in dye sensitized solar cell
The study aims to prepare polyacrylonitrile by chemical method (bulk - emulsification) and to prepare nanofibers by electrospinning process, for the first time in Iraq, and to apply them in sensitive dye solar cells
The study included the definition of the electrospinning process and the study of the factors affecting it if it is considered one of the most important processes to obtain nanofibers. One of the most important factors affecting the shape and rate of the fiber diameter and roughness was studied, which is the effort applied to the polymer solution with both the rate of flow of the solution and the distance fixed. The fibers were prepared from a polymer solution for the first time in Iraq using the technique of electrospinning by taking weights ranging between (3 wt%, 4wt%, 5wt%, 6wt%) and nanofibers were obtained that reached up to 25nm. The effect of heat treatment time on The optical properties of the nanofibers and the prepared polymer powder, as it was observed that the energy gap of the nanofibers and the powder decreases with the increase in the heat treatment time. After the results obtained, we succeeded in making a solar cell for the first time from nanofibers and nanopowder.
