About the Department:
Pathological department is one of the departments of college of science in Basra university. The department has established in 2018-2019. The department presents an academic curriculum to students which qualify students to be technicians and professionals in medical laboratories in future. The department aims to graduate students that helps the laboratory doctors professionally in many medical sciences such as Pathology, Haematology, Biochemistry, Serum science and Microbiology.
The graduated students will be qualified to work in different institutions that belongs to health ministry, higher education and scientific research ministry and medical departments in home office ministry.
