The College of Science in Geology Department discussed a master's thesis titled (Study of the geological history of the southern part of the Mesopotamian Basin, using a technique. Geographic information systems)  for postgraduate student Huda Salah Jaafar , the thesis aims to demonstrated the most important objectives of the study:  Design a sample model to the history of the burial of Mesopotamia during the Cretaceous and Triangular period and  Building a spatial database to distribute fault distribution data spatially and Mapping out the sedimentation periods.
