A seminar in Basrah University on ( Impacts of Contamination of Petroleum Hydrocarbons on soils and Groundwater in Dibdiba formation and their biological remediation, Rumaila oilfield, Iraq) held in the College of Science in Geology Department,  The researcher Asmaa Abdul Hassan demonstrated the most important objectives of study the environmental impact of oil spills  and heavy metals in the soil near oil wells in the Rumaila oil field in southern Iraq, and determine the spread of pollution in addition to proposing the most appropriate treatment methods through identifying and diagnosing biological treatment methods
